hi i need help i followed the video guide here in http://ubotstudio.com/tutorials.aspx "tutorial 2: simple form" it said just drag the username box to node but it doesnt work i cant even fill up any box using this bot

what is the website you are trying to automate?

If you can't drag and drop, can you right click, choose and then change the attribute?

the one in the video tutorial for ubot its www.ubotstudio.com/playground/simpleform.aspx the video tutorial showed it can drag the username: box but i cant, even i right click and select choose attribute the id is just aspnetForm same with the other boxes its totally different on video tutorials.. i already watched all video tutorial while waiting for a reply on my post until now i cant even fill up any form using ubot


edit: btw i tried other sign up page sites like forums, yahoo etc i cant do the dragging stuff

hey do you have drag and drop enabled in Internet Explorer?

To check, go into Internet Explorer, find Tools, Go to IE Preferences, and go to Base setting. See if the check box for Enable drag and drop is enabled.

i have internet explorer 7 but when i go to tools i dont see IE Preferences




edit: ok i manage to find it on internet option>security but it is enabled

omg why i cant make this bot work i have tried everything in the video tutorial even a single step doesnt work
i tried right clicking on the field text choose form commands>fill fields enter a text after that it has blank name,
i tried choose attribute then change attribute still dont work

The problem is with your computer. The tutorials will not help. Do you have everything up to date? Internet Explorer updates? .NET updates?

Please reply:

(1) Do you have a minimum of Windows (XP, Vista or Windows 7), 512 MB of Ram, 5 MB of disk space, and the .NET Framework 3.5?
(2) Have you tried updating youir system using Internet Explorer > Tools > Windows Update?

i have a modified windows xp , 1 mb of ram, have alot of space in disk, have net 3.5, already tried update my ie from 7 to 8
(do i get problem in ubot using modified exp?)

i have fixed the problem now i can make it work but not by following the tutorial, although drag and drop dont work, as for now i love this piece of soft i would like to learn more... btw how do i a list of username and password in notepad load it on my bot and the bot will use it to log in on a website? something like this for example

notepad:
username1,password1
username2,password2
username3,password3
etc....

then my bot will ask to upload a login info from a textfile,
bot will login to a website and log out using those info in notepad

No problem Ryan. You can watch the tutorial on csv files, it explains how to load from files. The more you learn the more you will love it. trust me on that one!
